The Tennessee General Assembly will consider a new version of the Competitive Cable and Video Services Act in 2008.  This legislation did not pass last year despite the efforts of about 58,000 consumers who contacted their legislators and demanded choice in their video service.  According to the Phoenix Center for Advanced Legal & Economic Public Policy Studies, this delay in passing the legislation is estimated to have cost Tennessee consumers $177 million dollars over the past year.

Take action and let the Tennessee legislature know that you want competition in the video services market.
